ADG’s Jacob’s Pillow Scholarship
THE DUNHAM LEGACY INTENSIVE
The American Dance Guild invites dancers to apply for our scholarship to the renowned summer dance school at Jacob’s Pillow in Becket, Massachusetts.
The scholarship covers one dancer’s tuition fees for The Dunham Legacy Intensive in Summer 2025.
The selected dancer must be a member of the American Dance Guild.
The Jacob’s Pillow Dunham Legacy Intensive is a 2-week program that selects 24 dancers interested in artists as activists and humanitarians. The program consists of daily 9-5:30pm studio hours plus up to four hours of evening activities. Jacob’s Pillow summer intensives entail a day-to-evening conservatory style curriculum designed for dancers to embody the stamina, perseverance, entrepreneurial, collaborative, and creative voracity required to live and work as a dance artist.

This prestigious opportunity is made possible by the board of the American Dance Guild in collaboration with Jacob’s Pillow. It was formerly known as the Erna Lindner-Gilbert Scholarship, and the Fannie Weiss scholarship, in honor of the women members who founded the scholarship.
